I started following Ron Harper when he joined the Chicago Bulls to "replace" Michael Jordan. Eventually Jordan returned and Harper moved to the starting point guard role. He sacrificed playing time, stardom and offense for championships, legacy and defense. He was on the best team in the history of basketball, winning 72 games in the regular season in 1995-96. He won three rings with the Bulls and stuck around for year #1 of rebuilding (unlike Jordan, Pippen, Rodman and Jackson). He then was recruited by Phil Jackson to join the Lakers and was able to be a part of another championship team as a role player, facilitator and defender.
If you have one from the list, please contact me! If you find any printing plates for Ron Harper, I'd also be interested in those! I'm also looking for other 90s cards with print runs /100 or less, even if not listed below, as I'm looking to add high grade copies to my BGS registry. **Not listed below are printing plates, because I'm not sure how many there are.**
All 1/1's: 26 (27. 4 %) All NON 1/1's: 574 (95. 7%)
BGS GRADED COLLECTION - RON HARPER REGISTRY
I have started to finally get some of my cards graded! I will be looking for "upgrades" or some of the cards I already have that are not listed above. Specifically if you have a rare 90s or early 00's card (serial numbered, short print, tough parallel, tough international version), let me know and maybe we can strike a deal!!
I am especially looking for Fleer Ultra Platinum and Flawless patch cards for Harper!
